This seaside holiday home in Connemara is bright, spacious and provides wonderful sea views over the Atlantic Ocean. The private sandy beach in Connemara is a short walk from your door through a field full of wild flowers throughout the summer.

Sliding doors from the dining area lead onto a patio with outside seating ideal for open-air dining and relaxing. The large garden is enclosed garden, and there is private off-road parking.

Pet Friendly Holiday Home

Claddaghduff Beach House is a pet-friendly holiday home. This property will accept a maximum of 1 dog. Please reserve at the time of booking via our call centre as your pet will not be accepted without prior confirmation. Pets are not permitted in the bedrooms, on carpeted areas or on the furniture. Pets must not be left in the property unsupervised and must be exercised off premises. Where the number of pets is exceeded, or additional cleaning is required due to pets being on furniture, carpets or beds, the charge for the additional cleaning will be made against your security deposit.

Claddaghduff village has a catholic church plus Sweeney's Strand Bar which is also home to the village shop and post office. Sweeney's Strand Bar serves freshly caught seafood dishes, and is quite famous for mackerel when in season. One of the top attractions of this beautiful place is the white sandy beaches, blue seas and the wildlife. The beauty and isolation of Connemara has over time inspired so many artists and writers.

1. Heating and Electricity:
This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner. In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager prior to arrival how this is calculated or prior to making the booking.

2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €150 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.
